I uploaded the newest version of The Adventures of Captain Susan Lochley. The .8 edition has two good ends and 4 bad ends (including the two bad ends previously released). I'm still undecided if I'll flesh out the middle of the game, but I did want to provide some closure to the game as it currently exists. Plus, it's a welcome break from Orc Dominion: Triumph which I am struggling with.

When you finish the game, please click on the "you" button on the left side and make a note of your Bimbo and Slut scores and leave them as a comment.  While it should be possible to get every ending, I want to make sure the variable balance is good so you don't have to min-max your way through to get the ending you want.

CAPT Lochley Coming Soon

Hey everyone!  I just wanted to give you a heads up that the newest version of Captain Lochley will be uploaded soon, possibly tomorrow.  I had a near panic attack when I realized I deleted one of the endings, but thankfully it was the one in .5.7 so I was able to download the game and extract it off of there.

This version will add two good ends and two bad ends to the game, and will probably end most of my development of the game unless there is strong feedback to continue.  I may add pictures for some of the principal characters though at some point, since I do have them picked out.

The biggest help I will need will be finalizing the variable scores for the endings.  I'll be better describing the scores used (bimbo and slut respectively) so if you could either post a comment or send me an email with what your final score was I would appreciate it.

There will also likely be bugs, so expect a bunch of rapid fixes in the first few days as I make corrections.  Thank you in advance and I hope you enjoy the endings I (finally) wrote!

Whew! After a very long hiatus, I've finally managed an update for Captain Lochley! This finishes the skeleton of the game, going all the way through Day 5, and offers two bad ends. I've been very productive this past week, getting work done on both Triumph and Lochley, so I'm going to try and keep working on both. The next update of Lochley will have 1 good end and two more bad ends (all at the very end of the game.) After that I will start fleshing out some of the choices that are blank as well as adding mid-game bad ends. Eventually, I'll get around to adding pictures! Update: Changed to 0.5.7. Just wanted to let everyone know that I finished the first bad end for Captain Lochley.  You'll get it if you lose the space battle on Day 5.

More Lochley Updates

Just wanted to give everyone an update and try to keep active on the blog. Today I made the infrastructure for an space battle in day 5. It is pretty simple, working off a base 10 to hit chance, but there are variables depending on what weapon you use and how much damage the enemy ship has. 

Lasers are the most accurate but do the least damage. Rail guns are middle of the road, and missiles are the least accurate but do the most damage. However, as the enemy ship takes more damage their ability to intercept missiles decreases, making it more likely they go through.

The battle is definitely not designed to be hard. If anything, the hard part will be losing to find the hidden "bad end". That may not be available this release though, we'll see :)

The Adventures of Captain Susan Lochley

So here it is, the first alpha/beta release of my Twine game, The Adventures of Captain Susan Lochley!  The game is a text based interactive erotic novel falling the Captain Susan Lochley as she gets infected with nanites that hyper-sexualize her behavior.

My plan is to go deep and then wide, by which I mean I want to get the skeleton of the game down from day 1-5 plus the endings, before adding more features in the middle of the game to plump it out.  Right now days 1 and 2 are complete, although nothing so far has been that edited.  So please report anything you see that doesn't work.

You may see a dead link at the bottom of the page early day 2, but that is working as intended.  It is there to let you know that a story branch does exist, but one of your earlier choices closed it off.

Right now the game is planned to have 4 main ends (3 bad, 1 good) as well as at least 2 bad ends in the middle.  No ends have been implemented into the game yet.

Once day 5 and the ends are finished I'm going to go back and add in pictures as well as additional choices and working more flavor text based on those choices.

Also, please note that this is the first time I've worked in Twine and I'm learning as I go.  If you know any tips or tricks that will help, please tell me!

But on that note, Twine is very easy to use so if you've ever thought about making a Twine game, give it a shot.  There is not much learning curve at all.
